Started the day with our nice pre-prepared breakfast at the Artisan Suite, then thought we'd visit the Hopewell Rocks during high tide just to see the difference. It was a pleasant morning and we were pretty much the only ones there as we visited first the Flower Pot Rocks (and still walked briefly on the high part of the ocean floor), then the end of the park where the shorebirds congregate during the summer months.

After that, planning on a return near 3:00pm during low tides, we decided to drive to Alma at the tip of the Fundy Drive, taking a scenic route and visiting Cape Enrage to see one of the oldest lighthouses in New Brunswick dating back to 1848. It was a beautiful drive with views of the Bay of Fundy and interesting marshes and mud flats along the way. One of the interesting side points of interest was the "Ha Ha Cemetery", an actual cemetery containing a small number of tombstones and grave markers.

We finished up the winding ride to the tip of Cape Enrage, with wonderful views of the coves as well as Nova Scotia across the Bay. Despite the wind, we got some good views, then descended onto the rocky beach below. By now it was time to warm up, so we returned to the car and headed out to Alma, the entrance to the Fundy National Park and most importantly for Elizabeth, home of the "sticky bun", a warm cinammon bun.
