
Added to the list of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites is Joggins Fossil Cliffs on the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. Awarded the status just last week, the cliffs hold fossils from 148 ancient species and 20 groups of fossil footprints dating as far back as 354 million years ago.
